USA: Beer shipments increased by 4.3% in May 2006

As Beer Institute reported June 23, beer shipments in USA increased by 4.3 percent in May 2006.

The increase was preceded by low volumes in April, when shipments fell down by 2% despite going up against easy comparisons. Accordingly, during the first five months of 2005, domestic beer volume went up 2.7 percent (2 million barrels or 2.38 million hl of beer).
